About

My name is Kyle Cummings and I started this whole thing back in 2016 when I was a record producer in Nashville who was editing podcasts on the side for extra income.

This occupational combo worked really well for a long time. That is until the COVID-19 pandemic upended my music production business and simultaneously doubled the podcast business — all in the same year.

As we onboarded new podcast clients that year, we were also expanding our service offerings to better serve them. That’s when we looked up and realized we weren’t a small podcast editing house anymore — we were a full blown podcast production agency launching and running high-impact podcasts for New York Times bestselling authors, Fortune 500s, small business owners, coaches, storytellers and just about everyone in between.

With 1000’s of podcast episodes and millions of downloads under our belt, we’ve increased brand recognition and loyalty for our clients in incredible ways. All through the power of podcasting.

We are helpers at heart — and we believe trust is the ultimate currency. We love this work and we’re really good at it. Our clients seem to agree (see our testimonials).

And me? My family and I just wrapped up 2.5 years of full-time travel in May of 2024. In 2021, my wife Kristin and I sold our Nashville home and set out to fulfill a years-long dream of full-time globetrotting — living in Airbnbs and running our businesses. Oh yeah, and with a toddler in tow. On the weekends, you could find us chasing our little boy around a park in Vancouver, BC or a beach in Nice, France. We felt like the luckiest people on the planet to be able to run our businesses and travel the world with our little guy.

But that little guy eventually needed to go to kindergarten and we were all needing a break from the road. In May of 2024, we wrapped our full-time travels and settled in Charleston, SC. We truly love it here. But we still travel quite a bit. I am a de-facto ski bum, so I spend a lot of time out west skiing in the winter and we also travel during the summers to escape the Charleston heat and humidity.

You may wonder — how do you do all of this travel and run Podcircle? Because I have a lot of practice and because running Podcircle makes it possible for our family to be fairly location-independent, which is a core value for us. I love my work and I’m invested in the success of our clients. I like to think that’s why we’ve enjoyed so many longterm partnerships over the years at Podcircle (we still work with our very first client from 2016).
